About Personal History Productions LLC
Personal History Productions LLC, a custom publishing company based in Northern California, works with clients all over the country.
Founder and managing editor Andi holds a master’s degree in English from Brigham Young University, taught composition at the university level, and worked for many years in the publishing industry. She previously was a senior project editor at a division of Random House.
Founder and primary team member Susan, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, is an award-winning journalist who worked as a reporter for a monthly magazine and daily newspapers, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Dallas Times Herald, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Since the company’s founding in 2005, Andi and her team of skilled and highly experienced book professionals have worked with a wide range of people and companies to create legacy projects. They’ve done everything from interviewing a client’s mother and father for an hour each and delivering flash drives of the interviews to creating life story coffee table books based on dozens of hours of interviews and illustrated with hundreds of photos and original documents. In addition, they’ve created business histories, as well as a commissioned biography requiring original-source research on three continents.
Our goal is to help you tell your life story, in your way, so you can share it for future generations. We know we’ve done our job when our clients are thrilled!
